The complete Cleopatra Secret range is made with pure essential oils, which are extracts of plants. They can come from the roots, leaves, flowers, stems, or a mixture of these. It may take thousands of pounds of plant material to make one pound of oil.

The main difference is the oil-to-liquid ratio in the product. Lotions are a blend of oil and liquid and are thinner in terms of texture.

Many of our ingredients are noncomedogenic oils which help keep dry skin supple and oily skin acne-free. Some elements have anti-inflammatory properties. The skin can breathe, remain hydrated, and keep free from breakouts. These vegetable or seed oils are not greasy and absorb smoothly and beneficial to oily skin, because they regulate the flow of sebum, don’t clog pores, cause no impurities and limit oil production.

However our essences bring about true moisture miracles and are therefore suitable for combination, oily and blemished skin, as well as very dry and mature skin.

Observe a best before date on the package as a symbol of an open crucible with expiry date. It indicates how long the product will last after it has been opened for the first time.

The shelf life of good essential oils is measured in years. Storage is the key. A storage temperature of 18 to 20 degrees Celsius is the best for the durability of natural skin care products. Do not leave your elixir in the sun. The most important ingredients are extremely sensitive to heat. Please do not store in the fridge. Strong temperature fluctuations are not recommended. Simply take good care of them. In turn, they will serve you faithfully and bring you the results that you desire and deserve, for much longer.

Pure Line has not developed a specific range for babies (under 3) or children (from age 3 to teenagers). Doses for babies and children are usually much lower than standard adult doses.
